FocusBuzz ("we", "our", or "the app") is an ADHD-friendly task management application developed by BuzzSpire. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

FocusBuzz is designed as a local-first application. All task data, settings, and statistics are stored exclusively on your device using SQLite and AsyncStorage. We do not collect or transmit your personal task data to any server.

The following limited data may be collected:

• Advertising ID (Android): Used by Google AdMob to serve non-personalized ads. We do not use this ID to identify you personally.
• Crash reports: Anonymous technical logs may be collected by Expo to improve app stability.
• Notification tokens: A device token is generated locally to schedule local notifications. This token is not shared with third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

The app integrates with the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob – Displays banner advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad delivery. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Expo (EAS) – Used for app updates and crash reporting. See Expo's Privacy Policy.

4. Permissions Used

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS – To send task reminder notifications.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED – To reschedule notifications after device restart.
• VIBRATE – To provide haptic feedback on task completion.
• INTERNET – Required for AdMob to load advertisements.

5. Data Storage & Security

All user data (tasks, settings, achievements) is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data. If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

6. Children's Privacy

FocusBuzz is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
